We are looking for General Manager/ Executive Director for Conotoxia Ltd- our subsidiary based in Cyprus (Limassol), providing access to Forex trading.
- Point of contact for CySEC regulations and updates,
- Assessing, managing, and resolving problematic developments and situations,
- To follow up developments in the sector and ensure that the company has the sufficient human and technical resources required for the performance of its duties,
- Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities,
- To implement governance arrangements that ensure effective and prudent management ensuring the separation of duties and prevention of conflicts of interest,
- Reporting to the board, providing market insights and strategic advice,
- To review all the reports from the internal auditor and the compliance officer and take necessary actions and corrective measures where appropriate,
- Ensure Company is in complies with all required regulatory and licensing agencies, etc. and if not, take action to resolve these issues,
- Review policies and procedures,
- Keep the Board fully informed on the condition of Company and on all the important factors influencing it,
- Provides general oversight of all Company activities, manages the day-to-day operations, and assures a smoothly functioning, efficient organization,
- Assures program quality and organizational stability through the development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular evaluation,
- Oversees the fiscal activities of the organization including budgeting, reporting, and audit.
Qualifications we expect:
- Degree in management, marketing or a related field,
- Extensive experience (3+) as a Managing Director or in a similar role, ideally within the Financial Sector (Cyprus Investment Firm), preferably in forex,
- Startup experience,
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans,
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills,
- Understanding of a multi-faceted business operation,
- Depth knowledge of markets and changing business environments is essential,
- Leadership will need to make quick, and sometimes tough decisions,
- Critical Thinking need to be able to solve problems as they pop up, analyse inefficiencies and refine company procedures,
- Proven track record of increasing work responsibilities,
